Shih Tzu is always enthusiastic and never aggressive towards strangers. If there’s anything negative about their temperament, it’s their people-oriented temperament which can make them very clingy. As they are small dog breed, they can easily fit in small apartments.

Shih Tzu’s temperaments with kids is never an issue. On one side because of their small size, they make wonderful playmates for children. But on the other side, they do not realize their small size and may accidentally get injured during playtime. Therefore it’s important to supervise them around children to make sure that your kids are playing carefully with them.
