Our Staffie is a perfect family pet who loves all of our family and friends. When he was younger he was neutered and was very easy to house train, just one pee and one poo inside then he asked to get out when needed. As a pup and younger dog he was very good with other dogs and just wanted to play chasing and being chased. However when he passed 5 years old he started to become unpredictable with other dogs particularly black dogs and Spaniels, so we now have to keep a close watch on him when out in the woods, fields, etc. He has not bitten any dogs but does knock them over and tries to sort of gather them up underneath him all the while making a lot of aggressive noise. That is his one fault as he is even quite happy to be left while we are out of the house and does not destroy any of the fittings or furniture.
