Training your Drentsche Patrijshond must be started as soon they are 8-10 weeks old. This is the perfect time for their obedience and socialization training. Firstly, start by teaching simple commands like “sit”, “come”, and “stay” as it takes some time for them to master them. Also start their potty training to set a mark for their daily toiletries.
When they reach 4 months old, make sure they master all the basic training so you can move on to advanced training. After that start another training like agility and dog sports. Then as they are adults now, train them from time to time as lack of training makes them stubborn and mischief.

During their training period, Drentsche Patrijshond is still a puppy so they need a friendly environment while growing. Hence, it’s best to train them at home for a friendly environment as well as to adapt to their new surrounding.
