The Eskipoo is a crossbreed between American Eskimo and Poodle. It is a small-sized dog that is known as Eskapoo, Eskimopoo, Pookimo, Eskidoosle.

The appearance is mixed where the muzzle is either short or medium and the ears are either upright or fallen down. The body is sturdily built with a round face.

The Eskipoo does well with people who are loving and caring. It can be owned by a single living person as long as it gets attention and love. It is a happy and loving dog that is best in the house from small kids to old people.

Temperament, Behavior, Personality

Temperament: The temperament of the Eskipoo is mixed with both of its parents. It has a cheerful, affectionate nature like Poodle and loyal, energetic and protective like American Eskimo. This mixed temperament them makes them a great companion for a family who is looking for a friendly dog.

Behavior: Eskipoo is quite an attention seeker which loves to be the center of its family attention. If they are not paid attention or left alone for a long period of time, they can become destructive and also depressed. Therefore, it is not the best idea to leave them alone for a long period of time.

Personality: The personality of the Eskipoo is energetic, alert, and loyal. It needs regular exercise to keep itself healthy. Eskipoo is not a tough dog to train as they are very smart and catch on new commands and instruction fast. They need a leader who can train them with patient and consistency.

They tend to respond well to positive methods of training, so provide them with treats and vocal praises as a reward. This will encourage and motivate them to get focused on the training. Once the basic training is completed, enroll them in advance training.
