Fat: While protein is also a source of energy for your dog, including some fat in your dog’s diet, provides them with all the energy that they need. They need 5%-8% of fat on their diet and anything more than that can lead them to obesity.

Vitamins: The Berger Picard needs 2%-3% of vitamins on their diets. It provides strength to coat, bones, and teeth. It also provides them with energy and strength for the normal functioning of the body.

How Much to Feed Berger Picard?

Berger Picard should be fed according to their age and activity level. When they are still a puppy, they need 4 meals a day. This is their development stage, so a proper meal in time helps in their physical and mental development. Decrease the meal to 3 meals a day as they grow.

As they grow up and reach adolescence, their meal should be decreased to 2 meals a day. Since they are involved in training, there will be a lot of treats in between which will fulfill their daytime meal needs. Give them one meal in the morning and other in the evening with treats in between. Increase the food amount as per their activity level.
