Ibizan Hounds are said to be the combination of both royalty and wild hunter. Ibizan is also called “Breezer” and was developed to hunt small animals and small games.
These beautiful Breezers have red and white coat with erect ears which can point sideways, forward and even folded backwards and flesh colored pigment on the nose and eye rims. Origin And History
Ibizan Hounds are ancient breed which dates back to thousand years back, however, as per the research of DNA studies it is more a recent creation. Ibizan Hound are originated from Spanish island of Ibiza where they were bred to hunt rabbits.
The Ibizan Hound were first introduced by Colonel and Mrs. Conseulo Seoane in the United States in 1956. The American Kennel Club then recognized them in the year 1979.

Ibizan can become quite hard to handle when they’re off leash since the prey drive are very high in them.
